Brenda paid a lot of attention to detail with her faux painting.  The top part of the wall is sponge painted and the vertical strips were produced by adding a clear gloss coat.  The border was finger painted to add the proper coloring and to match the floor tiles.
View of living room from the front door.  While no larger than the living room in our last home, the 20' ceiling makes the room appear far larger and allows for easy air circulation.
Sponge painted walls in the master bath give an interesting finish.  The cathedral ceiling gives the illusion that the room is larger than it is.
Brenda detailing the master bedroom.  The basket weave effect was painted on with a 4' brush over MANY weeks.  Then then painted border with little stars and moons.
The final effect of the painting in the Master bedroom.  You can also see a large window on the south side.  By the sun in the room you can see this was taken in the winter time.
Border and faux painting in the guest bedroom.  The wall bed folds out into a sleeping bed.  With it's private bath and closet it makes a great place for guests to stay.
Kirk's room, and another south facing window.  Again the picture was taken in the winter as in the summer there is no direct sunlight.
Brian's room in a sports theme.  The window on the right faces south and the window on the left is out only window to the east.

With our design we maximize windows on the south and minimize them on the other 4 walls.
